Everything about The Collins Off Main is designed with thought and intention. Founded by Amy Grace, whose career history of being an event planner made her the perfect fit to design a wedding venue, the venue is owned and operated by the Collins family. The Collins Off Main combines boho style and trendy designs to this historic building, combining modern style and functionality in Southeast Michigan.
Location of the Collins Off Main
Location is a big factor in the wedding venue picking process – and The Collins Off Main is conveniently located just 20 minutes west of Ann Arbor. As the name suggests, the venue is located off of Main Street, which means it’s surrounded by delicious eateries, breweries, art, and plenty of shopping options for all your guests. The downtown location also provides photo opportunities nearby, if you want to venture outdoors!

Budget is a consideration for most couples when choosing a wedding venue, and luckily The Collins Off Main believes in transparent pricing, listing all the options on their website, and promising no hidden fees!
For the most up to date pricing, be sure to check out their website as they can change any time. Currently, prices start at $10,500 for weekday weddings (with a discount to $7,500 during the winter off season), and go up to $18,500 for Saturday weddings on popular dates. The average cost of renting out The Collins on Main is around $15,000, and the available dates are conveniently listed here!
Capacity of the Collins Off Main
The Collins Off Main is perfect for medium sized weddings, though they also offer “pop up” options for elopements and tiny ceremonies! You can have up to 200 people at your wedding, and because the venue only books one event per day (unless you’re going with a pop up wedding), you’ll have complete access to the entire space while you’re there.

Getting Ready Space
It’s important that when you get ready for your wedding day, you have good lighting – so that you can see your makeup in natural light, and so that your photos turn out amazing! The Glam Room provides a spacious, well lit space to get ready, with a hair and makeup bar, boho decorations, a photogenic whitewashed decor, and a half bath that is dressed to impress!
Luxury Apartment
When you get married at The Collins Off Main, you’ll also have access to the apartment located upstairs – a luxurious one bedroom. It’s a perfect place to stay the night before the wedding with your wedding party, and the night after your wedding it serves as a honeymoon suite for you and your new spouse!
With a fully stocked, open kitchen, a master bedroom and additional murphy beds, and large windows, it’s the perfect home away from home!
In-House Coordinator
A day-of coordinator is essential in ensuring that your wedding day runs smoothly. The Collins Off Main provides an in-house coordinator who knows the layout and knows the space, so that they can help with the layout of your wedding, the decorations, and with keeping track of the timeline!
The Collins Off Main offers flexibility with both indoor and outdoor options for your ceremony and reception, an amazing feature considering you never know what you’re going to get for weather in Michigan. In case of inclement weather, you’ll always have the option to move indoors! The geometric copper arch can be moved to your preferred spot.
The inside ceremony space features modern white decor with leafy accents and greenery, with a mossy accent wall draped with vines. Hanging plants dangle from the ceiling, and modern light fixtures ensure a well lit space!
The outdoor space features a tent draped with string lights, an astroturf lawn for lawn games, and lounge chairs surrounding the tables and firepits (s’mores sticks included!).
The party doesn’t stop at The Collins Of Main’s indoor and outdoor bars. As a fun bonus, the Ugly Dog Distillery is located just a short walk away, offering bar services for your after party!
Everything You’ll Need
And when I say everything, I mean they really thought of everything! The Something Borrowed Closet holds everything you could possibly need for your wedding day – phone chargers, candlestick holders, cake knives, cake stands, sparkler signs, a gift box, easels, glass vases, amber bottles, and hundreds of other items!
Tours and Open Houses
After you’ve checked out pricing and availability and made sure that The Collins Off Main is right for you, you can schedule a tour to see the space in person! Tours aren’t required to book, but seeing the venue in person is the best way to see if you can imagine your wedding day here. Open house events are available as well, but they are only open to couples who have already had a tour and want to visit the space again.
