Elevated Boho Waldenwoods Wedding in Michigan | Rosie + Cody

Rosie and Cody’s September wedding at Waldenwoods Event Venue & Resort in Howell, Michigan was inspired by their love of nature and late summer sunsets. Mix-and-match bridesmaid dresses popped against the beautiful grounds and their Lakeview Tent reception was elevated with stunning florals and decor featuring earthy tones of sage, sea glass, and terracotta. Rosy and Cody describe themselves as very grounded people who love the simple things in life – their color palette represented them, honored their venue, and celebrated the end of summer.

Venue Spotlight: Waldenwoods in Howell

Waldenwoods Resort is located in Southeast Michigan, but it is nestled in a wooded space surrounding Lake Walden – giving the venue an “up north” destination feel without the drive time! Waldenwoods provides two ceremony locations and three reception spaces, giving couples multiple options to choose from to create the perfect wedding day experience for them and their guests. I also love that the venue offers on-site overnight accommodations for your wedding party and guests…and the food is always delicious. Rosie & Cody’s Wedding Day

On their wedding day, Rosie and Cody were most looking forward to staying on the property at Waldenwoods, having an intimiate moment together before the ceremony, seeing all of their creative details come together, and having fun with their loved ones. I would say they absolutely achieved all of those goals and then some!
