This intimate ceremony at the South Lyon Little Village Chapel was followed by a beautiful backyard reception complete with a mariachi band – that’s right, fue una boda bilingue! I don’t believe there was a straight face in the room when the bride surprised her groom by reciting her vows in Spanish – so cute! There were so many personal touches that showed off “Lalo and Clarita’s” personalities – from the lucky elephant on her bouquet to the little chocolate mice that adorned the dessert table. The details of this wedding were simple and classic, with the exception of her unique (and gorgeous) sapphire engagement ring. When a Michigan football fan’s wedding is on the night of the MSU game, of course the theme has to be blue and gold (right down to the groom’s socks) and the night has to be topped off with the big game on a projector screen!
