What are you most looking forward to on the day?

How beautiful I’m going to feel and how beautiful the venue is going to look. And to share that moment with the people we both love most.

What inspired your wedding décor? Did you have a theme in mind?

The theme is rustic wood. It fits with the venue. Cornman has a lot of beauty and character and we just wanted to subtly add to it.

Why did you pick your venue(s)? What is its best feature?

It’s beautiful! It a dream venue honestly. We always dreamed of getting married somewhere outside in a beautiful setting. Location-wise Ann Arbor was important for my family, as my grandma can’t travel far. We also liked Cornman, because it had a great rainy backup option (which will be in the tent viewing the rainy field where plan A would have been). They were also a full package type venue and with how busy we are and much we were trying to combine, the more already included – the better.

Is there any particular vendor you are really excited to have be a part of your wedding day?

Our photographer 😉 because she’s really amazing! But also the florist and the cake. I think those will wow people.

Which part of your wedding do you hope to WOW your guests with?

How much fun they had! Because we are having a hybrid wedding, our wedding will be unlike anything most guests have attended. We hope they will get to try/learn something new and love it. We also put a lot of care into keeping our guests entertained when we have to do family portraits and whatnot. Most guests will be surprised by the farm animals coming out at Cocktail Hour and having a photo booth. We also have special cocktail drinks named after us and a mocktail named after our dog.
