I am so excited to share Kaylee and Travis’s beautiful wedding day today! Goodells County Park is truly a diamond in the rough for couples looking for a gorgeous, historic, and rustic venue all in one!
Kaylee and Travis have such an amazing relationship centered on their faith and supported by many loved ones. The importance of family and faith was a central theme present in every detail and moment of the day. Kaylee is they type of bride that is intentional with every detail of her wedding day – don’t be surprised if you see another blog post in the future that focuses only on the details! A few of my favorites were…
Her dress!!!! Oh my goodness I’m a little obsessed…and I couldn’t get over how the shadows of the leaves fell on it in the tree!
His bracelet from his mom – “Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and loved more than you know.”
The locket of her grandfather on her bouquet, and her bracelet with an engraving of their wedding date.
His cowboy hat…because, c’mon, who doesn’t love a handsome cowboy?!
And, of course, their rings!
Once Kaylee was in her dress and all the details were in place it was time for the First Look – a Daddy Daughter First Look! I love these almost as much as my Bride and Groom First Looks. The look on Kaylee’s Dad’s face when he first saw her, and all of the emotions that followed, were absolultey priceless.
There was one more “First Look” before ceremony time…Kaylee’s First Look at her surprise horse carriage! Talk about a fairy tale dream come true! It was time to get our country princess to her wedding!
It was a gorgeous day for an outdoor wedding and Kaylee and Travis’s ceremony was full of beautiful and emotional moments. From the moment Travis saw his bride, to the vows they wrote to each other, a moment of prayer and laying of hands, to their first kiss as husband and wife. It was the type of ceremony that you get completely caught up in because you can just feel the overwhelming amount of love in the air!
Kaylee and Travis’s Bridal Party was full of their their closest friends and family. I love it when my couples have such an amazing abundance of love and support on their big day!
I am also so happy for my couples when they have the opportunity to share their wedding day with their grandparents. It’s a soft spot for me because I only had one living grandparent when my husband and I got married. Being able to capture three generations of love together is absolutely amazing!
Guilty as charged, I have saved my absolute favorite moments of the day for last – Alone Time! As important as all of the big moments of the day are, I am so passionate about the little ones. Being able to slow the day down, even for just a few minutes, to get time alone together and soak in the meaning of the day is what it’s all about. I am so incredibly impressed by the mature and unconditional love that Kaylee and Travis have for each other.
Kaylee and Travis, thank you for letting me share your special day with you and your loved ones, and for trusting me to preserve your memories! You have the sweetest friends and family – it was such an honor to be counted among them on your wedding day. May your marriage and life together continue to be blessed.
