I met Jessie and Cy about a year ago and we had an amazing time at their destination engagement session in the Leelanau Peninsula this spring. If you haven’t already, you can read all about their love story and engagement session here
Jessie and Cy’s vision for a wedding day full of laughs and smiles, surrounded by their family and closest friends was NOT stopped by COVID! Can I get a halelujah?! 😀
I absolutely loved that they made it a priority to make the day personal. Jessie wore jewelry from her grandmothers, their flowers were grown and arranged by her mother, and she put together their centerpieces with the help of her sister. My absolute favorite personal touch on the day was Jessie doing a First Look with her horse Whiskey. It was my first, but hopefully not my last, Horse First Look!
Don’t get me wrong, Jessie and Cy’s First Look was amazing too – in fact, it was one of the more emotional and authentic First Looks I’ve captured. And you know me, I love authentic and emotional moments!
Their ceremony at Minard Mills County Park was simple and beautiful – it’s hard to beat getting married next to a creek on a perfect fall day!
Jessie and Cy, it was an absolute privilege to be a part of your wedding day; to capture your once-in-a-lifetime memories, and to meet and celebrate with your family and friends. I am honored to be your Wedding Photographer and your Forever Photographer – I can’t wait to capture all the memories to come!
