We went to the same high school in rural Indiana but as far as we know, we never had met! Fast forward and I saw her on a Facebook group that we were apart of, so I messaged her!
We did a lot of virtual spin classes together! Our first date was making homemade pizza together, I made the dough and we each made a recipe that we picked out. Hers was better.
Well, it wasn’t the surprise that I intended it to be since she saw my location at her dad’s house in GR the day before I proposed. We did one of our favorite things together, a hike in Saginaw Forest with our dog Sammi. I proposed to her on a pier after walking an abnormal number of laps, since each time prior there were other people on the pier.
Being married to my best friend! Also seeing how beautiful everything looks, the flowers, bright colors, indoor/outdoor space, elegant-ness.
We want our wedding day to exemplify our lives, what we love to do, and what we love about each other. We love being outside, having fires, sharing a beer, having good food with the people we love. We really love that Collins has the option to be outside for the celebration.
We love the flexibility of the indoor and outdoor spaces, we like the historic feel of the clocktower, and the small town charm of Chelsea.
Byrdie Bar because its a bit unique..but really all of them!
